FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
The DAE Foundation believes that every student-athlete who is committed to growth, teamwork, and personal development should have the opportunity to participate regardless of financial circumstance.
The purpose of our financial assistance process is to establish a fair, transparent, and sustainable system for supporting families in need. Scholarships are intended to remove financial barriers while promoting commitment, character, accountability, and personal development in alignment with the values of our program.
Through the generous support of the JLP Foundation (501c3), we are able to offer the following financial assistance options:
1. Full & Partial Scholarships
Available based on demonstrated financial need and available funding.
Scholarship Options
Option 1: HARDGOERS – Full-Year Training Scholarship
Full: 90-100%; Partial: 50-75%; Assist: 24-40%
Covers: year-round practices, skill sessions, leagues fee
Option 2: Spring Season Scholarship

Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must:
* Demonstrate financial need
* Maintain satisfactory attendance
* Uphold behavioral standards
* Maintain acceptable academic standing
* Agree to program policies
All scholarship awards are:
* Confidential
* Reviewed through the JLP Board’s Scholarship Committee
* Based on both financial need and the student-athlete’s commitment to the program
Families requesting assistance are asked to complete a brief application outlining financial need and affirming their commitment to Team DAE expectations, including attendance, effort, and positive representation of the program.
2. Fundraising Shootathon
Families may also choose to participate in our Team DAE Fundraising Shootathon as an alternative way to offset program costs.
The Shootathon:
• Empowers athletes to take ownership of their participation
• Encourages goal-setting and accountability
• Allows families to raise funds through pledges and sponsorships
• Builds community support around our student-athletes
Funds raised through the Shootathon are applied directly toward your athlete’s program balance. Please note that once your student athlete’s balance has been met for the year, the remainder of funds raised will go into the general scholarship fund to support other student athletes. The balance will not carry into another year.
3. Competitive Champions Collective (3C)
JLP Foundation is registered with 3C – a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that helps young athletes pursue their competitive passions by providing financial support, community connection, and fundraising opportunities so that no child’s potential is limited by financial barriers.
As a parent volunteer, you can help raise money for your child’s youth sports by volunteering at local fundraising events (e.g., working concessions at sporting venues or event booths), where volunteer hours help your child earn scholarship funds through 3C’s volunteer-to-fundraise model.
Our Commitment
We are deeply committed to ensuring that finances are not a barrier to participation. At the same time, we aim to steward scholarship funds responsibly so that we can continue supporting families year after year.
If your family would benefit from financial assistance, please reach out confidentially to request the scholarship application or to learn more about the Shootathon option.
Thank you for being part of the Team DAE family. Together, we are building confident, disciplined, and high-character student-athletes on and off the court.
With gratitude,
Team DAE Leadership
