Afterschool DAE

Offered to Schools and Community Organizations – during and after school hours 
Designed for kids 5 – 8 and 9 – 12

A program provided on site at schools and community centers during and afterschool hours providing an active and fun way for children to learn about the importance of physical activity, healthy nutrition, and social emotional learning to help build healthy, positive, productive habits, promoting a positive growth mindset, and behavioral change overtime.

The program was developed using evidence-based, validated research in the fields of exercise physiology, health psychology, and nutrition science to engage students with accessible, fun activities and lessons. Afterschool DAE uses the Health Education/SEL Crosswalk to align the National Health Education Standards and Performance Indicators with the Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning (CASEL) Social and Emotional Learning Competencies and related skills.

The program is customized in partnership with the school or organization to meet the needs of their students and curriculum goals.  

Sea Island Heritage Academy 
DAE Foundation provides Athletic Training/Physical Education Rotation to students once a week. Our physical education programs are all about fun, fitness, and building healthy habits. Staying active and sharing the importance of teamwork and movement helps raise strong, confident, and healthy kids!
