Academic Tryouts

It’s never too late to dream a new dream, but it’s never too early either. Children have big imaginations which lead to big dreams, and it’s important to keep the fire burning.

That’s why the DAE Foundation is hosting their first “Academic Tryout”. We want to reach out to all the rising stars in the Lowcountry. Boys and girls ages 7-12 will work for a chance to receive exclusive training sessions, also known as the Oatmeal Recipe, from Jermel President! This isn’t your typical session that lasts a few months and it’s over. President will follow the progress of Oatmeal Recipe participants for 8 years. Oh, and that’s not all, the chosen students will also get a free spot in this summer’s Gus Macker Tournament.

How does it work? Students will be handpicked based on their academic performance at the end of the school year.
